Meet Zia — Our Founder, Ayurvedic Practitioner & Yoga Therapist
It's never been easy for me to feel good in my own body. Not only because for many years, I was told that I don't have the "ideal" body (my tan skin, my facial features, and even my height that doesn't even reach 1.6m), but I'm also continually struggling with many health conditions, from scoliosis and adult acne to weight issue and emotional trauma.
There were times where I used to apply whitening body scrub every day and only put moisturiser that promised a white skin—hoping that I'd be more confident with myself and that others would love and appreciate me.
And yet, no matter how much skincare or makeup that I put on, for years, I never feel good enough in my own body.
The struggles that I have with my health and wellbeing led me to embark on an alternative healing path. Since 2012, I travelled around the world to learn about Ayurveda and other holistic healing modalities from some of the best teachers in the world.
Not only I discovered how impactful and life-changing these healing methods to help treat my concerns, but I also realised my life's calling — a purpose you may call it. And that's to make this knowledge and wisdom to be more accessible and applicable to more people back home.
And that's how Ayuritual was born.
Through our holistic products and programs, we aim to be the support system for women to feel truly happy and confident. And that's through embracing their innate beauty and use external resources (foods, herbs, skincare, etc.) as a mean to enhance what's already within.
Thank you for trusting me with your health and wellness — and for sharing our passion for holistic beauty.
With so much love,
Zia Kusumawardini
