We believe that beauty is innate for everyone.
We just need to learn how to unlock and embrace it. And here's at Ayuritual, we'll show you how.
Only 1 out of 25 women consider themselves beautiful!*
*) A study from The Dove Global Beauty and Confidence Report
This study, which interviewed 10,500 females across 13 countries, found that women's confidence in their bodies is on a steady decline. Regardless of their age and geography, this low body confidence issue becomes a unifying challenge shared by women and girls around the world.
Here are a few shocking statistics from this study:
Only 4% of these women consider themselves beautiful,
72% of girls feel tremendous pressure to be beautiful,
9 out of 10 women cancel an important meeting as well as stop themselves from eating when they don’t feel good about the way they look, and
8 out of 10 women want to look their best rather than follow an accepted definition of beauty. Although, many are still confused about which path to walk that can help them embrace their unique beauty, and make them truly happy.
Meet Zia — our Founder, Ayurvedic practitioner & Yoga therapist
It's never been easy for me to feel good in my own body. Not only because for many years, I was told that I don't have the "ideal" body (my tan skin, my facial features, and even my height that doesn't even reach 1.6m), but I'm also continually struggling with many health conditions, from scoliosis and adult acne to weight issue and emotional trauma.
There were times where I used to apply whitening body scrub every day and only put moisturiser that promised a white skin—hoping that I'd be more confident with myself and that others would love and appreciate me.
And yet, no matter how much skincare or makeup that I put on, for years, I never feel good enough in my own body.
"It's only after I learnt about Ayurveda, I began to realise that beauty is innate for everyone. That our task isn't to seek beauty externally. But to embrace the beauty within that's unique for each one of us, and use external resources to enhance it."
The struggles that I have with my health and wellbeing led me to embark on an alternative healing path. Since 2012, I travelled around the world to learn about Ayurveda and other holistic healing modalities from some of the best teachers in the world.
Not only I discovered how impactful and life-changing these healing methods to help treat my concerns, but I also realised my life's calling — a purpose you may call it. And that's to make this knowledge and wisdom to be more accessible and applicable to more people back home.
My digestion transformation
My skin transformation
My weight transformation
And that's how Ayuritual was born.
Through our holistic products and programs, we aim to be the support system for women to feel truly happy and confident. And that's through embracing their innate beauty and use external resources (foods, herbs, skincare, etc.) as a mean to enhance what's already within.
Thank you for trusting me with your health and wellness — and for sharing our passion for holistic beauty.
With so much love,
