      WHAT IS HOLISTIC BEAUTY DETOX PROGRAM?

      I (Zia) didn't' grow up with the perfect health nor confidence in my own body. Since I was a child, I often plagued with diseases. From chronic bronchitis, weight problems, digestive issue, food intolerance, allergy, adult acne, and even scoliosis.

       

      I tried so many healing modalities to help me treat the imbalances. And one that has been helping the most is Ayurveda. The 2,000 years old holistic healing system that focuses on treating the root cause of imbalance that suits my unique body constitution.

      From the many practises in Ayurveda, one of the methods that have been contributing massively to my health is "Panchakarma", an Ayurvedic detox.

       

      What makes Ayurvedic detox special is that Ayurveda has the oldest recorded history of performing intensive detox procedures, giving them the experience of how to avoid side effects and provide maximum detoxification at the cellular level.

      The basic principle of 'do no harm' is often ignored by many detox programs. It's not uncommon to hear stories from people who felt great during the non-Ayurvedic detox programs, yet experiencing side effects after.

      After experiencing the amazing benefits of Ayurvedic detox first hand, I feel encouraged to share more of this with others. So since 2013, I co-organised a mini Ayurvedic detox program in Australia, Thailand and Bali, to help others heal and have more vitality in their life.

       

      Although, the big challenge that often put people off from doing Ayurvedic detox is how expensive it can be! It can range between USD 100 to 200 per day (or even more!). And traditionally, the detox can last between 7 - 28 days. Imagine how much money it'd cost!

       

      Which is why, through this home detox program, I'd like to share the benefits of Ayurvedic detox in the most affordable way, which can also be done in the comfort of your home!

      What are the benefits of an Ayurvedic detox?

       

       

      1. The doshas – Vata, Pitta and Kapha, will return to their original balance and function normally. The mind calms down, intellect and concentration become sharp.

      PREPARATION WEEK

      (September 29th - October 5th)

      On September 29th, you will receive welcoming information with a shopping list for the food ingredients and other herbs that you'll need during the detox program. During this preparation week, you're encouraged to avoid certain foods to make your detox week smooth! And if you register for the PREMIUM or V.I.P. program, each day you'll receive daily video to help you learn about the program and the practices that you'll do during the detox week.

      DETOX WEEK

      (October 6th - 12th)

      This is the main course of the program! This is when you'll implement the information that you've been learning in the preparation week, and enjoy the transformation process!

      Zia Kusumawardini

      Learning Ayurveda and other alternative holistic healing modalities have helped Zia to overcome her health challenges. From allergies and scoliosis to weight problem and emotional trauma, Zia has faced all sorts of personal crises.

       

      She has come to realise all of these challenges were signs of understanding more about herself and the total environment that affects her. Her journey also taught her that every human is born unique and gifted in their way. And that with the different body constitution that each of us has, we're meant to fulfil a role and purpose that only we could do.

       

      Besides practising Ayurveda, Zia is also a Vedic astrologer, a yoga therapist, and trained in Qi Gong, dance therapy, and other different forms of bodywork. She is now on a mission to share her knowledge and experiences to empower others to take control of their wellbeing and create a life they love.

      Sonia Vaswani

      Sonia’s journey into mind-body health unfolded during her studies in veterinary biology and animal studies when her own state of wellbeing called her to listen and question deeper.

       

      With a formal background in the sciences and an interest in improving her health holistically, Sonia found herself drawn to sister sciences: Yoga and Ayurveda. Ayurveda is known as ‘the science of life’ that sees everything as medicine. This includes food, herbs, and touch. As well as the subtle; thoughts, feelings, and daily routines/habits; referred to as ‘dinacharya’ - a core focus in her consultancy sessions.

       

      She thinks that the biological intelligence of cells carries out the healing processes naturally throughout life and healthcare simply facilitates that - where factors such as self-awareness, mindfulness, and deep listening are key.

       

      Over the passing years since her transition from animal health to human health, Sonia has kept her main interest focused on mind-body wholeness and also enjoys learning about medicine through a wide lens, incorporating different perspectives both modern and ancient, eastern and western, scientific and philosophical. Her one-on-one Ayurvedic consultations are experienced in a safe and gentle space, addressing the unique individual’s health. (as Ayurveda does not follow a “one size fits all” approach).

      When will the program start and end?

      The program is divided into two-phase: Preparation Week (September 29th - October 5th) and Detox Week (October 6th - 12th).

      I'm new to Ayurveda. Can I easily join and follow the program?

      Abso-freaking-lutely! My intention in creating this program is to make Ayurveda and its detox system to be easily implemented in the busy modern living, even for people who are in their beginning journey to health. Including in that is to make it affordable too!

      Can someone with existing health imbalance/disease join the program?

      We'd encourage you to join the V.I.P. program so that our Ayurvedic practitioner can individualise the detox program to your needs.

      I have a tendency to lose weight. Can I join the program to gain weight?

      Since any form of detox would tend to shed some weight, we'd recommend for you to join the V.I.P. program so that your detox plan can be adjusted. Not only a program to cleanse your body but also to balance your weight.

      Can I still do the program if I'm on my menstrual cycle?

      Unlike any other form of detox, our detox program is pretty gentle. Hence, it can still be done even if you're on your period.

      Can a pregnant/breastfeeding women do the program?

      Pregnant & breastfeeding women need more nourishment and less detoxification. Which is why if you come under this category, you'd need to join the V.I.P. program so that our Ayurvedic practitioner can individualise the plan for your needs.

      Can I do the detox in my own time?

      Once you join, you can pretty much do it (or re-do it) anytime you want (you'll have lifetime access to the program!). Although, if you register for the PREMIUM or V.I.P. program, we encourage you to do it at the scheduled time. So that you can join the Q & A, that's part of the program.

      Can I do the detox while working & travelling?

      Yes, the Holistic Beauty Detox is designed to be able to do while working/on the move or taking it easy, either way. Although, we do recommend to have as much downtime as possible to help assist with the detoxification. As long as you can stick to the three meal a day plan (that you only need to cook once in the morning), then you're sorted!

      What kind of videos would I get if I choose the PREMIUM/V.I.P. program?

      You'll receive videos where you get to learn about Ayurveda, understanding your dosha (Ayurvedic mind/body types), Ayurvedic daily rituals, Ayurvedic detox, and other necessary resources that will support and deepen your detox journey,

      What's the consultation like if I choose the V.I.P. program?

      The consultation will be focusing on individualising the detox program for you, and not necessarily on creating a long term treatment plan for your health concern/imbalance. It can be an option where you can do a separate follow up consultation after the detox.

      What do I need to do/prepare to follow the program?

      On the first day (September 29th), you will receive welcoming information with a shopping list for the food ingredients and other herbs that you'll need during the detox program. You'll have until October 5th to shop/gather all the necessity, so that you're well equipped when we perform the detox together on October 6th. And during this preparation week, you're also encouraged to avoid certain foods to make your detox week smooth!

      What does the daily schedule look like during the detox week?

      Waking up closer to the sunrise is highly encouraged, and continued with Ayurvedic morning practices, light yoga and meditation (with a pre-recorded video if you register for the PREMIUM or V.IP. program). You'll have the same detox meal three times a day for the entire detox week (you only need to cook the meal once in the morning for the whole day), consume herbal tea throughout the day, and have herbs that can help to heal & strengthen the digestion. It's highly encouraged to stay at home as much as possible during the detox week and bring more of your attention inward to assist the detox process.

      When will I get the PDF and videos of the program?

      The program's PDF will only be sent out with other resources on the evening of September 29th. And you'll receive the video of the classes every evening from September 30th until October 5th.
